dog days are over the rainbow

Today I went like almost every wednesday to Crissy Field

I enjoy walking there after my day at the clinic and stare at the Golden Gate

I enjoy the sand, some days warm under my feet, most of the days cold and windy but beautifully sunny

I like to have my step sinking in the sand, it feels a little bit like walking on the moon (the way I'd imagine it)

I enjoy the dogs, happily running around, into the waters careless of the temperature

some very elegant dogs, gracefully making the landscape more interesting

some very ugly dogs, making me laugh out loud with their goofy looks and walks, making the landscape more adorable

and the same thoughts fit the owners as well

a couple of dogs jumped all over me, my bag and my books

I have sand everywhere now in my room

totally worth it

I always write a message on the sand

a little greeting, a little thought, a song

it's like a modern version of a message in a bottle and thanks to technology it does travel far away very fast and I like to think of the smile on somebody's face when they open the bottle..

today everything felt different

and awkwardly great.

here some of the last shots... since it's true that I stopped posting pics on flick and here.. and some of my friends cannot enjoy them on instagram and they asked me to "come back"

dog days are over
